Almond Vanilla Frozen Dessert

The Almond Vanilla Frozen Dessert is something you should try to beat the heat of the summer. It’s relatively easy to make with only a few ingredients that are usually already in your pantry.

Here’s the deal:

I based it on my Almond Banana Milkshake Recipe. And the result? Delicious!

I had this idea when we had a spicy dinner, and I had a craving for a dessert. However, there weren’t any in our fridge/freezer. So, why not just make one?

Smoothie will be too heavy for me, so perhaps a lighter version—hence, the Almond Vanilla Frozen Dessert.

With all that said, let’s blend!

How to make the Almond Vanilla Frozen Dessert?

Luckily, this is just like any other blender recipe—straightforward to make. As simple as adding all the ingredients and letting the machine do the rest of the work. If anything, this is simpler than the rest since there’s no “prepping” necessary.

Here’s the thing:

If you’re not going to use a high-power blender, you may have to add more liquid (x2 or x3).

On the other hand, High-Performance Blenders can handle this recipe even without adding liquid. That being said, you still need to assist your blender using a tamper.

Tips and Substitutions

I used my Homemade Almond Butter for the Almond Vanilla Frozen Dessert. So, suppose you’re going to make your own almond butter. In that case, this is also an excellent recipe to clean up the remaining sticky almond butter on the sides.

Of course, almond butter is just one of many nut butter you can use. Whichever you have will be perfect nonetheless. Peanut butter, for one, is a favorite choice of many.

Here’s the kicker:

As I have mentioned earlier, if you’re using a powerful blender, you can skip the milk altogether. By doing so, you can make this recipe into a nice cream. And to go even further, you can use more frozen bananas than ice to make it creamier.
